Extended Afterschool Day Care

After the School Day Ends

Designed with working families in mind, our Extended Day Care (EDC) Program offers a safe, nurturing space for students in our coed Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade programs to be known, loved, and engaged in meaningful activities until pickup.

Our dedicated team treats EDC as a natural extension of the school day, balancing academic support with recreational play so every student leaves the day happy and well cared for.

 

Hours of Operation

EDC runs every school day, with closures noted on the school calendar around holidays and breaks.

Monday – Thursday
3:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Friday
1:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Fees and Registration

EDC offers flexible, value-conscious pricing for the 2026-2027 school year:

  • Registration Fee: $25
  • Hourly Rate: $8.55 per hour (30-minute minimum, billed in 15-minute increments thereafter)
  • Late Pickup: $5.00 per minute after 6:00 PM
  • Fees are subject to annual increases.

Academic Support and Play

Learning continues after dismissal. During homework time, students work in grade-level groups while staff guide them through assignments and help build executive functioning and time management skills.

Once homework is complete, students choose from a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Outdoor play makes full use of our sports equipment and play structure, while indoor options include arts and crafts, board games, Legos, and puzzles, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and friendship.

Daily Schedule

Monday – Thursday

  • 3:30 to 3:45 PM: Snack Time (brought from home)
  • 3:45 to 4:15 PM: Homework Time
  • 4:15 to 5:00 PM: Indoor and Outdoor Play
  • 5:00 to 6:00 PM: Indoor Play

Friday

  • 1:00 to 1:30 PM: Lunch Time (brought from home)
  • 1:30 to 2:00 PM: Outdoor Play
  • 2:00 to 3:30 PM: Movie and Electronic Game Time
  • 3:30 to 4:30 PM: Indoor and Outdoor Play
  • 4:30 to 6:00 PM: Indoor Play
