Merit Scholarship Deadline

All-Girls 9-12 High School

NDA offers four-year merit scholarships for 9th grade applicants. These scholarships are awarded based on various criteria, including HSPT scores, academic performance, and teacher recommendations.

The Priority Admissions Application deadline for merit scholarship consideration, is December 11, 2026 (9th grade applicants only).

NDA ensures that these awards are given to the most qualified candidates. HSPT scores will need to be sent to NDA by February 5th.

FACTS Financial Management Application Due Date: January 8, 2027

Your FACTS Financial Management online application for the 2027-2028 school year for all Notre Dame Academy students must be completed by Friday, January 8, 2027.

All applicable documentation from your 2025 tax returns, as filed with the IRS, must be uploaded in PDF format or added to your application through the FACTS IRS tax integration feature by Friday, January 8, 2027.

How To Apply for Tuition Assistance & Adjustment

5 Steps - How to Apply for Tuition Assistance - Coed TK-8

Step 1: Create Your FACTS Account & Complete Your Application
Create an account to begin the FACTS Financial Management application . Fill out the FACTS application with your family's financial information. The process typically takes less than one hour to complete and is mobile-friendly—allowing you to start, pause, and return to your application at your convenience, from anywhere.

Step 2: Submit Financial Documents
As part of the FACTS application, you will be asked to authorize the secure transfer of your prior year’s federal tax return directly from the IRS. This helps streamline the process and may eliminate the need to upload personal tax documents manually. However, you also have the option to upload your tax documents directly if you prefer. If your family files business tax returns, those documents must be uploaded separately. Detailed instructions for submitting all required materials are available within the FACTS system.

Step 3: Submit Your Application
At the end of the FACTS application, there is a $45 submission fee. If you are applying for tuition assistance at other schools that also use FACTS, you may share your application with them at no additional cost. Simply select those schools from the dropdown menu within the application.

This ensures you have all the information needed to make a confident enrollment decision. Returning families will see their tuition assistance in their Enrollment Agreement, rather than through a separate notification.

What is Tuition Assistance - Coed TK-8?

Notre Dame Academy is not a parish school and is solely supported by tuition and donations.

Notre Dame Academy offers tuition assistance for students on the basis of family need as assessed by the FACTS Financial Management system.

NDA uses Finalsite (FS) to manage tuition and incidental fees.

While FACTS Financial Management provides the school an analysis of each family’s financial need, the school determines which families will receive tuition assistance.

Tuition assistance is available on a limited basis. Children who receive tuition assistance must maintain an academic effort commensurate with their basic abilities and comply with the guidelines detailed in the Parent/Student Handbook. If you are in need of any financial assistance, we encourage you to apply for tuition assistance, which must be reapplied for annually.

What is Tuition Adjustment - All-Girls 6-12?

Tuition Adjustments are made to over 40% of our student body.
Tuition Adjustments are made to a wide variety of family income levels based on the degree of family need as evaluated by the FACTS Financial Management system. Admissions decisions are made independently of the need for tuition adjustment.
Tuition Adjustments are limited. Families who apply by the deadline will be prioritized for consideration. As these resources are finite, not all families who qualify may receive assistance. In some circumstances we may offer reduced grants to meet partial need.
Tuition Adjustments that are submitted after the deadline will be placed into a waiting category.
Tuition Adjustments must be applied for annually, but unless there is a substantial change in a family's financial situation, the awards should be consistent in future years.

How is Tuition Assistance determined for the Coed TK-8 families?

Our need-based tuition assistance and financial assistance program is designed to support mission-aligned families by considering demonstrated financial need and available resources.

We partner with FACTS Financial Management to manage our tuition assistance and financial assistance application process. FACTS provides a secure and comprehensive platform that reviews each family’s full financial picture—including income, assets, expenses, and outstanding obligations. Families may also submit a written explanation of any special circumstances they wish the committee to consider. Based on this information, FACTS generates an estimate of what each family should be able to contribute toward educational expenses. NDA subtracts that amount from our tuition rate to calculate your Tuition Assistance.

All applications are carefully reviewed by Notre Dame Academy’s Tuition Assistance and Financial Aid Committee, which takes into account each family’s unique situation while striving for fairness across our community.

When the admissions application for the 2027–2028 school year opens, families interested in tuition assistance should indicate their intent to apply and begin the process outlined. Tuition assistance applications are submitted concurrently with admissions applications.
