An organically diverse community of learners since 1949 Notre Dame Academy has been hosting international students since 1989. We have successfully welcomed students from our sister schools in Germany and India, as well as short-term, one year, or multi-year students from Chile, Italy, Spain, Japan, and China. A rigorous, college-preparatory school with a wide range of enrichment activities, NDA embraces the unique gifts of each student, tailoring our curriculum to ignite your passions, build character and deepen your faith. With personalized learning at the heart of our approach, we empower students to grow academically, spiritually and socially, equipping future leaders to make an impact in tomorrow’s world. International students considering NDA must be academically strong and possess relatively strong English skills.
Céline Lucie Aziz International and Travel Program

The Céline Lucie Aziz International and Travel Program was established in honor of Céline Lucie Aziz, Class of 2005. Céline was an avid traveler who believed that travel has the power to connect people, broaden perspectives, and build understanding. This program celebrates her spirit and love for exploration by providing opportunities for young women at Notre Dame Academy to experience global cultures and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
The Céline Lucie Aziz International and Travel Program is rooted in three core pillars:
Domestic and International Travel
Each year, Notre Dame Academy students travel across the country and around the world to engage in cultural experiences that enrich their education. Last school year, students explored the Yucatán Peninsula; Vechta, Germany; and Morehead, Kentucky.
Cultural Celebration and Exploration
Located in the heart of Los Angeles, Notre Dame Academy is uniquely positioned to celebrate the rich diversity of our city. Through programs like LA Is Our Campus, students are invited to explore the vibrant cultural mosaic that defines Los Angeles.
International Program
The program also supports our international student community, welcoming young women from around the world to experience Los Angeles and Notre Dame Academy. This global exchange of ideas, cultures, and friendships strengthens our campus community and reflects the spirit of connection that Céline so passionately embraced.
By introducing young women to the world early in their lives, the Céline Lucie Aziz International and Travel Program helps cultivate a love for exploration, connection, and curiosity - qualities that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Partnership with The Cambridge Institute of International Education
Notre Dame Academy is proud to collaborate with The Cambridge Institute of International Education to offer a premier international student program. This partnership ensures that students are well-prepared for their journey abroad before arriving and receive continuous support throughout their academic year at NDA.
Students from China, Korea, and Vietnam are required to apply through The Cambridge Institute, which provides comprehensive assistance and guidance from the application process to integration into our school community.

We are willing to consider students who are interested and have the ability to secure a student visa and private housing with family, friends, or through a reputable exchange program.
